Creating CSS Menus: Part 1
Navigation menus are one of the most important elements of a coherent website. The purpose of a navigation menu is to clearly display links to a site's main sections, and because hyperlinks are an integral part of the Internet, menus are an integral part of any website. Because of the simple, yet flexible nature of style sheets, CSS is the best way to create a clean menu that can be easily modified. Most professional looking CSS menus can be created with relative ease, compared to using Flash or raw image rollovers, and CSS menus are by far the easiest menus to modify. With these advantages in mind, CSS is the obvious choice for creating a clean but stylish menu.
