Candle -model, shaders, render - video
In this almost 1 whole hour! tutorial we'll model a candle standing on a table from scratch, once the model is complete we'll UVW map the table and then bring the UVWmap into photoshop to texture it. We'll use displacement to add detail to the table. Then we use a Mental Ray SSS (sub surface scattering) shader to give the candle a realistic look and to finish off use volume light for some atmosphere around the whole scene. In the last part we'll also use photoshop to take our final result a little further by adding glow and some smoke.
