Gel Tablets
We initiated the design with a NEW LAYER of transparent background. For this case, we used one in dimensions of 600x400, defining a rectangular selection with cleared corners, of the following way:

Fact this, we created another NEW LAYER of transparent background, active for default in the Layers Dialogue with the selection before defined; to this new layer we will apply “degrades” of colors from one clear one to the one dark in sense of the left corner superior to the right inferior corner; notense the configurations and ways applied in the tool when making this first one degrades of “front to background”:
Opacity = 100
Mode = Normal
Degraded = Front to Background
Slide = 0
Form = Radial

On this active layer, we will make a second degrades, but in this case, the configurations you would was modified:
Opacity = 10
Mode = Clarear Only
Degraded = Front to Transparency
Slide = 100
Form = Radial
Allowing to obtain the following effect of “front to transparency”:

This way we will give to light and shade to the designed section, looking for to generate a volume effect.
Until the moment, the rectangular selection has not been eliminated, and that following to create a NEW LAYER of transparent background, it activates in Layers Dialogue and keepeing the selection area, we colored with white color:

With the tool of “rectangular selection”, we delimited a zone that this over horizontal half of the designed section, in order to be able “to cut” of the following way:

To the part that is left us of the white section, we will apply to Filters/ Defocusing Blur/ Defocusing Gaussian in ranks similar to the shown ones:

Again, with the 'magical twig” tool, selection with mark in “combined sample” we selected of the following form:

We created a NEW LAYER in transparent background, and, in the Layers Dialogue, we deactivated the layer painted whit white color, created in previous steps; we have left as the layer of colors resulting in degrades and an area is transparent selected:

Maintaining this selection active, we will use the tool again “degrades” this time of vertical way from above downwards, with the reinitiated parameters of the tool of the following way:
Colors: For Default, White/Black (In Front/Background)
Opacity = 100
Mode = Normal
Degraded = Front to Transparency
Slide = 0
Form = Linear

We duplicated the layer: Layer/ To Duplicate Layer
For default our active layer is the last created (Duplicated Layer), so we will invest it of the following form: Layer/ To Transform/ To turn around vertically
And we eliminated all type of mark of selection with 'Selecting/ Nothing'
To the obtained result (left image), we will apply an adjustment in the levels of brightness (-50 in this case) and of opacity (70 for this layer), managing to diminish the visibility of the inferior layer and obtaining an effect like this (right image):

Following step, we created a NEW LAYER in white background and, with Duplicating Layer, we duplicated the layer of the “colored original design”.
Locating this layer duplicated on the white layer; after diminishing the opacity of the “original design” (opacity = 70), we downwards moved some pixels, and we apply defocus with Blur Defocusing (30 xs 30) looking for to generate a shadows effect;

To obtain the required effects, we need keep the order structure in Layers Dialogue, locating our different layers with its respective effects as it is indicated:

We created a NEW LAYER in transparent background and we added a rectangular selection of smaller dimensions to those of our original image, moving it downwards:

Tip for this step, after selecting the original design, we give to Selecting to Shrink (Shrink)
Defined the location of our new selection, we painted with white color and we applied Filters/ Defocusing/ Gaussian Defocusing (50 x 50)

This last layer, in the Layers Dialogue, to be located over all the previous layer, and in “to overlap” mode, obtaining an effect of transparency of the designed object.

Additionally, we will be able to add images and/or text, giving the opacity to these new layers, as if to be identifiers of button, gel tablets logotype, or “virtual candies”.
