Photoshop may not be the first port of call for traditional cartoonists or animators, but this does not mean that simple single-frame cell-shading effects are impossible in Adobe Photoshop. This tutorial describes a very simple technique for creating images with cartoon-style effects using nothing more than a photograph and the basic Photoshop tools.
